Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low impact muscular strengthening and flexibility. Pilates emphasises on proper postural alignment, core strength and balancing muscle strength.

Pilates focuses on providing strength to the numerous muscles of the body. Some of the health benefits of Pilates includes; improved tone in the body think “long and lean”, balanced stability amongst the muscles of the body, focusing on the abdominal, back, hip and pelvic strength.

We offer online classes here in the practice in light of the Covid19 pandemic and they are aimed at improvers level. We teach beginners Pilates exercises as part of our treatment plan for our patients when they attend for treatment.
