About
Orlagh Sampson is a Chartered Physiotherapist who has worked extensively in her field with an impressive client list from around the world, Dublin, London, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Orlagh established Sampson Physiotherapy in 2001, initially in the Cabra area of Dublin. Orlagh’s vision is always to treat her patients as a whole, she recognises that we are metal/emotional beings, not just physical.
Orlagh trained as a physiotherapist in Guy’s Hospital London, sat the U.S. board exams in Chicago and completed her Masters in Sports Medicine in UCD. She also completed a 3 year diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Lansdown College, Dublin, a diploma in Homeopathic Medicine from Santa Monica, California and is a qualified Pilates instructor.
Orlagh would love to complete a PhD some day!
Orlagh chose a career in physiotherapy from her love of sport. Orlagh had the honour to represent Ireland and Leinster as a junior Badminton player and was privileged to be asked to be involved in the Irish Boxing team, canoe slalom team, Riverdance and the set of “King Arthur”.
Orlagh would consider herself as being a movement specialist. She believes in a patient centred approach to physiotherapy treatment. Listen first, then treat! This is the ethos that she instils in her physiotherapist that work in the practice.
Orlagh loves her work and finds it very rewarding and satisfying and hopes never to retire!
